Thank you for using Polychron Vault ("Polychron", "the App"). Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles your information.
Polychron is designed with privacy as a core principle.
By default, Polychron does not upload, transmit, or store your documents, photos, or other personal content on any server operated by us.
Your data remains on your device unless you explicitly choose to enable optional iCloud synchronization.
All documents, photos, notes, and other content you add to Polychron are stored locally on your device.
We do not operate a cloud service that stores your private documents.
All processing of your documents is performed on your device unless you choose to enable optional iCloud synchronization.
Polychron offers optional iCloud synchronization.
If you choose to enable this feature, your timeline and documents are synchronized using Apple's iCloud services.
This synchronization is entirely optional and can be turned on or off at any time in the app's settings.
When iCloud Sync is disabled, your data remains only on your device.
Apple manages iCloud according to its own privacy and security policies.
Polychron supports Face ID and device passcode authentication to help protect access to your private archive.
Biometric information is processed entirely by iOS. Polychron does not receive, collect, or store your Face ID data.
If you choose to import photos or documents, Polychron requests permission to access your device's Photos library or Files.
These permissions are used solely to import content that you select.
Polychron never accesses files without your permission.
Polychron does not display third-party advertisements.
Polychron does not track your activity across other companies' apps or websites.
We do not use advertising identifiers for tracking.
Protecting your privacy is a fundamental design goal of Polychron.
Your documents remain under your control. By design, we do not have access to your files or their contents.
Polychron does not collect analytics, usage statistics, or crash reports.
We do not monitor how you use the App.
You are always in control of your information.
Deleting an item from Polychron permanently removes it from the app's local storage.
If iCloud synchronization is enabled, deletion will also synchronize across your devices using your iCloud account.
Polychron is not specifically directed toward children under the age of 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the App or to comply with applicable laws.
The latest version will always be available through the Privacy Policy URL listed in the App Store.
